The content analysis of four Polish opinion weeklies ("Polityka", "Wprost", "Newsweek Polska", "Gazeta Polska") in the period 2000–2019, shows which gender themes are taken up by the studied editorial teams and how and on which occasions women are discussed. The presented data are descriptive in nature, but one can notice a tendency to write about women mainly in columns concerning social issues, with a particular emphasis on themes depicting the situation of women in the labour market and issues concerning women's carnality/sexuality.
