Abstract

The article discusses the principles of Poland's health security in the concepts of Polish governments since 2001. These were the offices led by: Leszek Miller (2001-2004), Marek Belka (2004-2005), Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz (2005-2006), Jarosław Kaczyński (2006-2007), Donald Tusk (2007-2014), Ewa Kopacz (2014 -2015), Beata Szydło (2015-2017) and Mateusz Morawiecki (2017-2023). Various concepts of the structure of the health care system, various financing measures and various changes aimed at improving the system and ensuring its greater efficiency were analyzed. The article characterizes such elements as: 1) the structure of the health care system, 2) financing of the health service, 3) rights and obligations of the health service and patients.
