Aims and scope
Studies in Politics and Society – abbr. POLISPOL – is a multidisciplinary journal in the field of social sciences. The journal publishes, in particular, papers in political science, security studies, and communication and media studies. The Editorial Board welcomes both articles relating to current theoretical discourse and presenting the results of empirical research.
The aims of the quarterly are:
- developing a discussion on the theory and methodology in political science;
- publishing the groundbreaking results of research on polity, politics, and policy issues and the media;
- encouraging an academic debate on current political events and trends, their determinants and impact on social development;
- stimulating the interest of the academia, politicians and journalists in new events and processes taking place in public life.
The Editorial Board of the quarterly make every effort to ensure that the papers published in the journal meet the conditions of academic reliability and high quality. This is achieved through the ethical principles of the journal, the review procedure and high publishing quality.
