The emergence of digital technologies, including computers, smartphones, games consoles etc., has significantly changed the way children spend their free time. Playing with peers, outdoor movement, are often replaced by hours of using IT equipment, which became children’s possession along with the development of modern technology. This article deals with the issue of spending free time by children aged 7–17, and in particular the types of activities they undertake, from the point of view of their parents. The cited research results are an extension of analyzes performed using the WGT3X-BT accelerometer on a group of 108 children carried out in 2017 at the School Complex in Zarzecze im. Jana Pawła II (Subcarpathian Voivodeship).Downloads
