The present day and age is characterized by fasts technological development, particularly within the scope of modern information devices. Development of communication technology has changed image of the society that has become a formation dependent on knowledge and infor-mation, which struggles for getting access to more and more advanced communicators. The main source of knowledge is now Internet, which due to its nature – easy access and wide possibilities for publishing of various content – constitutes an important element developing personality of its youngest users. It is even possible to state that nowadays it constitutes a kind of unique education environment. This article discusses main features of the information society and presents some basic prob-lems related to values education of contemporary children and youth – the digital natives. It emphasises the role of Internet in education, focusing particularly on the factors that have a significant influence on axiological development of the young generation.Downloads
