Hypermedia Textbooks – a New Medium in Identity Education

The popularization of Internet and development of electronic publications has allowed to build hypermedia textbooks, which use interactive mechanisms, hypertextuality and structural elasticity. In Polish education reality textbooks in electronic form were allowed for school use in 2009. Now, after almost a decade of their use, there is a need for theoretical and methodological reflexion on identity tasks of modern hypermedia textbooks.
