Despite slow developments, early primary education is still dominated by the transmission model of teaching, based on content-oriented teaching. Educators are expected to change their approach to learning and teaching, and to trigger the genuine intellectual activity of students. There are many available methods of doing it. It is recommended to begin with the rebalancing of methods, increasing student-centered ones and focusing on challenging tasks for students.Downloads
