Every family is a special microsystem of mutual relationships and connections, accepted and recognized goals and values. The appearance of a child with intellectual disability in the family becomes a particular challenge for the whole family system, especially for parents and his or her siblings. In the crisis situation, there appear many questions and doubts, fears and signs of disadaptational behaviour. One of the basic questions concerns the value of such a life and the meaning of parents’life in the situation of the appearance of a child with intellectual disability.Downloads
