The author discusses the issue of the right to education and compulsory schooling based on the Polish legal terms. She shows the real costs associated with education, especially with obtaining higher education degrees (examples of different countries). The author gives the examples of implementation of the right to education by the universities in Poland and abroad. She defines disability and shows that people with disabilities are guaranteed the right to education at all levels, including university. Presence of students with disabilities at universities as well as degrees and diplomas they obtain, prove their awareness of the need to raise qualifications in the era of knowledge-based economy.Downloads
