Abstract

The article addresses the current topic – both in the literature on the subject and in the practice of enterprises – the issues of human capital management, taking into account the development of knowledge in the context of modern technologies. Nowadays, human capital is treated in organizations as a source of competitive advantage for enterprises. Therefore investments in, human capital become important at the organizational level, including through the development of knowledge, expanding and acquiring new professional competences, and monitoring changes that occur under the influence of modern technologies, including artificial intelligence. The aim of the article is to identify activities that enable the formation and management of an organization that operates flexibly in a dynamic environment, in which members have the ability to think strategically. The author determines the implementation of the indicated premises by improving employee competences. The author, referring to the concept of human resources management in the context of human capital development, formulates the thesis that the development of knowledge is an important tool for the competitive advantage of modern enterprises.
