The aim of this article is to analyze and interpretate selected poems from Małgorzata Lebda's book of poetry entitled Mer de Glace and to show the duality of the world in which the subject created by the poet is entangled. The first one is the overwhelming world of the climate catastrophe, and the second is individual, peaceful world of oikos, based on the bond with home-place and home-nature, which allows to find space for experiencing their own emotions.
