About the Journal

The journal Dydaktyka Informatyki (“Didactics of Computer Science”) is a peer-reviewed annual scientific journal published by the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Rzeszów. It addresses, from scientific, social, and educational perspectives, significant issues related to the development and use of information and communication technologies in the emerging information society.

The aim of the journal is to provide an international platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences and for the presentation of research findings concerning the application of modern information technology, information technologies, and multimedia technologies in educational processes at all levels of education.

The journal’s thematic scope includes, in particular, issues related to computer science education, digital education, digital competencies, the use of information and communication technologies (ICT), digital media, and the development of the information society. Artificial intelligence is also an important area of interest, including its applications in education, science, and social life, as well as the ethical, legal, and social implications of the development of AI technologies.

The journal also publishes papers devoted to cybersecurity, data protection, combating cybercrime, disinformation, users’ digital security, and other challenges arising from the dynamic development of information technologies.

Authors have the opportunity to present original research findings, theoretical analyses, case studies, and their own views on issues falling within the journal’s scope. Only manuscripts that have not been previously published or submitted for publication in another journal are accepted for publication.

The journal is primarily addressed to researchers, academic teachers, teachers at all levels of education, specialists in digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, doctoral students, students, and all those interested in the use of modern technologies in education and social life.
