The article presents a selective review of research on distance learning in Polish schools at the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic. As part of the introduction, the essence of e-learning was described, including its forms, advantages and disadvantages. The following section presents the results of reports on the use of remote learning tools and techniques by teachers in the summer semester of the 2019/2020 school year, and presents educators' concerns about online teaching. Data on the behavior of students during distance learning were also discussed, which shows that some of them, instead of participating in classes, spent time on social networks, played computer games or browsed the Internet for purposes not related to lessons.Downloads
