Support and the Role of the Elderly – Preventing Adverse Changes

Abstract

Population aging is an inevitable process and irreversible, causing transformations in all spheres of life. In view of the progressive process of demographic challenge is to develop solutions and to take such action which would protect us from the announcement of adverse changes. The article is an attempt to draw attention to key areas such as the organization of an effective system of health care, the provision of social security, the fight against social exclusion, raising public awareness. Phenomena of aging and the use of potential and experience of older people and increase their activity in which we can and must make a considerable effort to provide support to the elderly and prevent the negative consequences of transformation.
