The overriding aim of the article is to analyze the European Union's consumer policy towards alternative ways of solving consumer conflicts. The publication contains a detailed analysis in terms of amicable resolution of consumer conflicts with entrepreneurs in the European Union's consumer policy strategy, i.e. from 1992 to the present day. The prospect of developing this type of dispute resolution methods was also indicated. Resolving consumer conflicts amicably is an important aspect of EU consumer policy. The basic tool for their development is legislation in this area, as well as extensive information and education activities about its effectiveness.
