Abstract

The phenomenon of tutoring is global. It has existed in Poland for a long time and has increased significantly in recent years. Currently, private tuition is perceived as something normal. The results of empirical research carried out among secondary-school graduates from Opole show the universality of tutoring and indicate the reasons why the students participate in the above-mentioned private tuition.
