Contemporary Business Intelligence Tools in Enterprise Management

Abstract

Effective and efficient management of a modern enterprise requires the implementation of an analytical approach in which business intelligence (BI) is increasingly used. The aim of this paper is the assessment of selected BI tools from the point of view of managers as their key users. At the beginning of the article, the modern BI tools market has been characterized. The main part of the considerations is the evaluation of Power BI Desktop, Tableau Desktop and QlikView platforms offered by the three leaders of this market.
