The profession of a teacher is subject to constant assessment and in this way it becomes the subject of many analysis, discussion and scientific debates. Changing requirements for a contemporary teacher raise following questions: What is the teacher like in 21st century? and What should the teacher be like? The issues concerning image, tasks and obligations of contemporary teacher raise new questions, doubts and they also indicate the contemporary teacher should be above all a professional who becomes open to social and educational problems. What becomes also important is the question about teachers’ attitude towards current transformations as well as focus on difficulties resulting from new education challenges.Downloads
