This article shows the problem of the communication between academic teachers and students. The reason for the topic was to talk to students from which it was revealed that this commu-nication is not the best. An attempt has been made to determine what factors affect effective communication and what distorts it. Students believe that factors such as age, sex or teacher's academic grade do not affect the effectiveness of communication. First of all, bad influence on communication in the opinion of students is influenced by what they describe as exaggeration, incomprehension of activities, too quiet speaking, delaying, lack of response to e-mails, little activity from the tutor and excessive stress in class. This article can help to better understand the expectations of students in communication in the teaching process.Downloads
