German-Jewich schools in Galicia in 1774–1873. Conditions and development dynamics.

Abstract

This article analyses creating the chain of national schools for Jewish people living in Galicia in 1774–1873. Described years enclose time of its existence. In this article, the author characterized Austrian educational politics and Jewish education at the beginning of Galicia existence. Conditions of functioning Jewish education in XVII/XIX century and Jewish folk schools in this time was also presented in this text. The author showed also ways of reconstruction of Jewish education in XIX century.
