Abstract

The paper is a continuation of the eyetracking research on using pupilometry for the analysis of students’ subjective assessment of the level of task difficulty and for diagnosis of their cognitive load during the process of problem solving [Rosiek, Sajka 2014]. The diameters and changes of the pupil size of chosen middle school students were measured. The article includes a detailed analysis of the reactions of the pupil size in selected two groups of students: gifted in science, and achieving the lowest results in these subjects. The attempt was made to compare these reactions.
