The article presents model which may constitute a basis, a proposal of methodological solutions aimed at developing interest in the technique of children from an early age. Moreover, all the benefits of using such materials in the school environment are included and discussed. The issue of industry’s demand for people graduating from technical faculties was also raised. The ability to arouse interest and passion for technology and its tools largely depends on the competence of the teacher conducting the subject at school. Showing a wide range of possibilities to use basic materials such as paper, plastic, glass and wood, makes it possible to build and construct very interesting models that can be used in everyday life. One such example is the use of wooden sticks in the construction of methodical models of bridge structures presented in this article.
